Activity 13.1: Reflective Teaching Knowledge Quiz
The Reflective Teaching Knowledge Quiz asks you to respond to questions about reflection that are focused on teaching practice. This can help you to become more aware of the benefits of reflection, develop informed decision-making skills and gain confidence in your teaching practices.
Activity 13.2: 140-Character Memoir
This prompt asks you to consider your experience with reflection and how it aligns with research on reflection. Doing so helps you extrapolate that knowledge to your work inside and outside the classroom.
Activity 13.3: SMART Reflective Goals
The SMART Reflective Goals activity uses the SMART acronym to develop goals related to student learning outcomes, professional learning and professional practice. The acronym provides a useful structure for articulating goals that are Significant, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
