Definition

The Multiple-Task Mastery Checklist activity is a template designed to guide you through systematically planning, executing, and evaluating a formal SoTL project.

Purpose and Goal

Faculty often face challenges in effectively structuring and managing the various stages of a formal SoTL project. This can lead to incomplete or disorganized project implementation, resulting in suboptimal outcomes. To address this issue, the Multiple-Task Mastery Checklist activity provides a structured format for carrying out a multi-stage formal SoTL project. It aims to support faculty in organizing their project activities, ensuring the completion of each step in the series, and ultimately improving project outcomes. This activity promotes a systematic approach to project management, enabling you to:
  1. Clearly define project tasks and their sequence: The checklist assists you in identifying the specific activities required to complete the project successfully. This clarity ensures that no crucial steps are overlooked.
  2. Track progress and identify areas for improvement: By monitoring your progress against the checklist, you can assess how well you are executing each task. Identifying areas that need attention allows for timely adjustments and enhancements.
  3. Foster formative assessment and reflection: The activity encourages you to reflect on your project implementation by providing a structured format for self-assessment. By evaluating your progress against the checklist, you can identify strengths, weaknesses and areas for further development.
